Kim Song-hyun, CEO of SierraBASE, shared his vision in the Korea Trade Newspaper interview.
Kim Song-hyun, CEO of SierraBASE, stated: "Technology must exist for people, and creating real change in the field completes the research."
"We came this far with the mission to transform dangerous workplaces," he said on SIRIUS's impact.
"Our creation is not just a robot, but a tool to protect human lives; technology is establishing new standards that replace safety risks," he emphasized.
"In drone-based infrastructure inspection automation, we possess unparalleled competitiveness. Japan, with its high scale and awareness in safety diagnostics as a quality-focused market, will serve as a bridgehead for expansion across Asia based on our proven technology," he declared.
"Through our technology, we hope to resolve 'global safety inequality' and create a growth model together with developing countries," he explained on India entry.
"Trusting each team member's expertise is the highest leadership; a tech company's competitiveness ultimately comes from its people," he noted.
"Desk designs are less valuable than precious lessons from field feedback," he said on prioritizing on-site work.
"Technology that cannot change society is only half an innovation," he asserted on social responsibility.
"I dream of a world free from danger for everyone. In the next 5 years, secure leadership in Asia's inspection automation market; in 10 years, achieve global infrastructure safety standardization," he outlined.
"Technological advancement must be for people. SierraBASE is making a reality where robots take on risks and people work more safely."
